• All drivers have been vetted by Merseyside Police and more recently The Criminal Records Bureau. All vehicles are fully insured for private hire use.

• All vehicles have to pass twice yearly stringent vehicle examinations by Knowsley M.B.C. Only when the vehicles meet the strict criteria of the test will it be licensed to be used as a Private Hire Vehicle.

• Female customers who prefer to be collected by a lady driver can specify this service in advance by telephoning the Acorn Cars Private Hire call centre on 0151 546 4444. Please note no bookings for this service can be taken by email.
